INNOT CNMG range: 16 solutions for steel, stainless steel, cast iron and superalloys

The complete family of inserts is now online in our catalog: INNOT CNMG, the 80° negative rhombic insert most used in external turning. We have organised the range by material and type of operation, so you can find the right combination of chipbreaker and grade in seconds.

For steel the range covers the whole working field: GF and GC for finishing, GQ and GM for semi-finishing, GR for roughing and, for heavy-duty machining, the inserts CNMM-GZ and CNMM-GX with depths of cut up to 13 mm. CVD grades IT8105, IT8115, IT8125 and IT8225 cover conditions from continuous to interrupted cutting. For finishing with high surface quality there is also the CNMG-HQ in cermet (ITC10 and IT115C).

Stainless steels (ISO M)

Three chipbreakers dedicated to stainless steel: BF for finishing, BM for semi-finishing and BR for roughing, with PVD grades IT7225 (first choice) and IT7125 (tougher in interrupted cuts).

Cast irons (ISO K)
