Negative inserts
Double-sided negative inserts: twice the cutting edges per insert and great strength. The choice for roughing and semi-finishing on medium and high-power lathes.
CNMG cast iron
80° negative insert for turning cast iron, with universal double-sided chipbreaker and CVD grade IT6115.
DNMG cast iron
55° negative insert for turning cast iron, with universal double-sided chipbreaker and CVD grade IT6115.
Negative turning inserts: strong and double-sided
Negative inserts have a 0° clearance and can be used on both sides: a CNMG offers 4 edges, a TNMG and a WNMG 6, an SNMG 8. The edge is strong and withstands high depths of cut and feeds, which makes them the first choice for roughing and general turning on stable lathes.
The shape depends on the profile to be turned: 80° (C and W) to turn and face with the same tool, 55° (D) and 35° (V) for profiling, 90° (S) and 60° (T) for roughing with the most edges.

Toolholders with 45° or 75° lead angle for square and triangular inserts: the chip gets thinner and the cutting edge withstands deep cuts.
Spiral point tap for through holes in quenched and tempered and alloy steels: the chip is pushed forward. TiCN, 10 – 12° rake.
Wavy cutting edge that breaks the chip: lower cutting forces and vibration, very high removal rates in roughing.
High-feed modular heads from Ø10 to Ø42 mm, 2 to 8 cutting edges, M6–M16 connection, for BLMP inserts.

Inserts and cutting tools for CNC machine shops. Dedicated grades for every ISO group, from steel to aluminium, from superalloys to hardened steels, with cutting data in every product sheet.
